Burj-ul-Khalifa in UAE
The tallest skyscraper Burj-ul-Khalifa, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, lit up with the national flag of Pakistan on its 74th Independence Day. The pictures of the skyscraper circulated on social media yesterday. The official Twitter account of Burj-ul-Khalifa also tweeted the pictures of mighty skyscraper illuminated with the Pakistani flag yesterday.

The display of the Pakistani flag on the tallest and famous skyscraper Burj-ul-Khalifa held around 9 pm UAE’s local time to commemorate the strong brotherly and friendly relations of UAE and Pakistan. Another iconic building in UAE also displayed the national flag of Pakistan to commemorate the country’s 74th Independence Day. ADNOC’s building in Abu Dhabi also lit up with the colours of the flag of Pakistan.

Earlier, on Friday, the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nayhan sent the congratulatory message to President Arif Alvi on Pakistan’s Independence Day. His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum also wished Pakistan on its Independence Day. Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Supreme Commander of armed forces also sent out wishes for Pakistan and its people.

Meanwhile, Turkey also celebrated Independence Day of Pakistan. Famous tourist attraction in Turkey was lit up in green and white colour to commemorate the Independence Day of Pakistan.
Akatule- a landmark site and one the tallest towers in Ankara, was lit up with the national flag of Pakistan yesterday on the country’s Independence Day. The pictures of the Atakule Tower displaying the national flag of Pakistan and Turkey with a message lauding the friendly and brotherly relations between the two Muslim states. The Atakule Tower also ran a popular message, ‘Jeevay Pakistan’ yesterday.

Interestingly, Atakule Tower is situated on Jinnah road. It has a Jinnah monument opposite to it. Pakistan Embassy shared the images of Ankara Atakule lit up with the national flag of Pakistan on its social media account.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also sent a congratulatory message for Pakistan. “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan, on the 73rd anniversary of their nation’s independence. On behalf of the Turkish people, I send my regards and love to all Pakistanis, with whom we have strong bonds,” wrote President Erdogan on Twitter.

Turkish actor Engin Altan Duzyatan aka Ertugrul also visited the Embassy of Pakistan in Turkey to convey his greetings on the 74th Independence Day of Pakistan. He also extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Pakistan on Independence Day in a video message. Engin Altan Duzyatan wished his Pakistani fans in the Urdu language.
He said, “Tamam Ehl-e-Pakistan Ko Jashn-e-Azadi Mubarak” (A very happy independence to all the people of Pakistan).
