Taylor Swift Ties Drake’s Record with 10 Wins at the Billboard Music Awards 2023

Swift's triumph at the BBMAs serves as a precursor to the 2024 Grammy Awards, where she is nominated for six categories.

Taylor Swift’s spectacular dominance in the music industry continued at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards, where she clinched 10 out of 20 nominations. This feat ties her with Drake as the most-awarded recipient in BBMA history.

Swift, who was already the top female winner of all time with 29 wins before the event, now boasts an impressive tally of 39, securing victories in categories like Top Female Artist, Top Artist, and Top Billboard Global Artist.

Despite being in South America for her Eras Tour, Swift expressed her gratitude to fans in a pre-recorded message, acknowledging their role in making the tour magical. She emphasized the importance of fan support, stating, “I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have you in my corner and caring about the music that I make.”

Swift’s triumph at the BBMAs serves as a precursor to the 2024 Grammy Awards, where she is nominated for six categories, including Album of the Year for “Midnights.” If she secures this honor, Swift will become the first artist to achieve this feat, surpassing legends like Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon, and Stevie Wonder. Notably, she has already set a record as the first songwriter with seven career nominations in the Song of the Year category.
