2024 Ford Bronco Sport Prices Slashed by Up to $1,980: Latest Updates

Ford Cuts Prices for the 2025 Bronco Sport

Great news for potential buyers of the Ford Bronco Sport! It seems that Ford has decided to lower the MSRP for the popular SUV. This comes as a relief, as just a few months ago, we expressed our concern about the high price of the Bronco Sport. We even mentioned that the base trim level had been discontinued, making it even more expensive to get into this SUV.

According to a recent dealer bulletin obtained by Cars Direct, Ford has reduced the prices of all but one trim level of the 2025 Bronco Sport. The new MSRPs, after factoring in the destination charge, are as follows:

– Big Bend: $31,390 (reduced by $1,435)
– Heritage: $33,690 (reduced by $1,335)
– Free Wheeling: $33,990 (reduced by $1,335)
– Outer Banks: $35,530 (reduced by $1,980)
– Badlands: $39,985 (no change)

With these price reductions, the entry-level Bronco Big Bend now costs just $300 more than the regular Ford Escape Active. As you move up the trim levels, the price difference increases to around $2,000. It’s worth noting that the destination charge for the Bronco Sport is $100 higher than that of the Escape for some reason.

Interestingly, only the Badlands trim has maintained its previous price. This might not be a bad thing, though. The price difference between the Badlands and the Outer Banks has actually increased from $2,515 to $4,450. This seems like a more reasonable premium considering the additional equipment that comes with the Badlands trim, such as front tow hooks, torque-vectoring rear differential, transmission and rear-drive coolers, skid plates, all-terrain tires, and a unique Badlands suspension.

In terms of sales, the Bronco Sport had a successful year in 2023, with 127,476 units sold in the U.S. This was a significant increase of over 30% compared to the 99,547 units sold in 2022. In an effort to boost sales even further, Ford offered incentives of up to $4,500 for the 2023 Bronco Sport in December. This strategy paid off, as dealers sold an additional 31,565 units in the first quarter of this year, representing a 6% gain compared to the same period last year.

Now, it remains to be seen whether the price cuts for the 2025 Bronco Sport will have the same impact as the previous incentives. However, with these lower prices, the Bronco Sport is sure to attract even more buyers who were previously deterred by its high cost.
