Kia has recently released pricing details for the highly anticipated 2025 K4, the successor to the popular Forte small sedan. While the K4 offers more physical space, it also comes with a higher price tag. The base LX model starts at $23,145, which is $2,000 more than the Forte LX.
The price increase is consistent across other trims as well. The LXS trim, for example, is $1,500 more than its Forte counterpart, while the Forte GT to K4 GT-Line Turbo sees a significant jump of $3,400. The full pricing lineup for all the K4 trims is as follows:

Despite the higher price, Kia has not provided extensive details about the standard features of the K4. However, it has been confirmed that the K4 is slightly larger in length and width, resulting in improved rear seat space. However, this comes at the cost of some cargo space.
One notable surprise is the inclusion of the multi-link rear suspension in both the GT-Line Turbo and non-turbo versions of the K4. Previously, this feature was exclusive to the turbocharged Forte GT. The K4 is equipped with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as unspecified driver assist systems.
In terms of powertrain options, the naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is only available with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). On the other hand, the turbocharged 1.6-liter engine comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The K4 will be released in stages, with the LX, LXS, and EX models becoming available in September. The GT-Line will follow in November, and the turbo version is expected to arrive early next year.
