“2025 Lexus RX Gets Updated with Appearance Package and New Features”

Changes are coming to the Lexus RX for the 2025 model year, with the popular crossover receiving some updates and additions. One notable addition is the optional appearance package called the Black Line Special Edition. This package has been seen before on other Lexus models and has been well-received. The 2025 RX Black Line Special Edition includes an exclusive exterior color called Incognito, black exterior trim, black-finished 21-inch wheels, and orange brake calipers for a touch of contrast. Inside, the package offers black upholstery with gray contrast stitching.

Interestingly, the 2025 RX 500h F Sport Performance Black Line Special Edition has quite a lengthy name, perhaps the longest in the Lexus range. Production of this special edition will be limited to 500 units for the North American market in 2025. For those who prefer a sedan over a crossover, the 2025 ES also offers the Black Line Special Edition package, with 1,000 units available for the North American market.

Aside from the Black Line Special Edition, the other changes for the 2025 RX are relatively minor. The current RX was introduced for the 2023 model year, so it is not yet due for a major update. One notable change is the addition of a new trim level called F Sport Design for the RX 350 and RX 350h variants. This trim level includes specific exterior design details, 21-inch wheels, and black open-pore wood trim in the interior. Another update is the standard inclusion of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster across all models and trim levels.

In terms of color options, the new Incognito color is exclusive to the Black Line Special Edition package. However, it is worth noting that Incognito is also available as an option on other models in the RX range, giving buyers a total of 11 colors to choose from.

The 2025 Lexus RX is expected to arrive in showrooms later in 2024, and pricing details will be announced closer to its launch.
