AppMagic Raises $3 Million in Series A Funding to Expand Mobile App Data Platform

blankAppMagic, a mobile app data platform, has successfully raised $3 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by GEM Capital, which contributed $2.5 million, and also saw participation from Vibranium with a contribution of $500,000. This investment will enable AppMagic to further develop its user-friendly toolset for mobile app market research and enhance its global presence.

Max Samorukov, the founder and CEO of AppMagic, expressed his commitment to providing a comprehensive and accessible toolset for app market research. He emphasized that the funding from GEM Capital will accelerate product development, allowing for the addition of new types of data and increased accuracy. Samorukov also mentioned the company’s plans to establish regional sales teams in the U.S., China, South Korea, and Japan to expand its market share in these key regions.

AppMagic’s previous achievements include becoming the third-largest mobile market intelligence tool by number of clients with just $200,000 in seed funding. The company offers several proprietary tools, such as the Success Meter and Live-Ops tools, to assist developers in understanding the market landscape and achieving success.

The recent acquisition of Data.ai by Sensor Tower has created an opportunity for AppMagic to attract clients who are seeking an easier-to-use or more affordable alternative. GEM Capital’s managing director, Kirill Gurskiy, praised AppMagic’s product as the best on the market in terms of user interface and user experience. He highlighted the simplicity and ease of use combined with the depth and complexity of its analysis as unparalleled.

The relationship between GEM Capital and AppMagic goes beyond this funding round. In fact, GEM Capital had previously named Samorukov as an advisor in April 2024. This existing relationship further solidifies GEM Capital’s belief in AppMagic’s potential for success.

This investment marks an important milestone for AppMagic as it seeks to expand its presence in the mobile app market research industry. With its user-friendly tools and dedicated sales teams in key regions, AppMagic is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for mobile app data analysis.
