“BMW Updates 2025 Lineup with New Parking Tech and Customization Options”

BMW is preparing for the future with updates across its lineup, not just the 3 Series. The luxury automaker has announced several changes that will be introduced in summer 2024, including new parking technology for the X1 and X2 models, as well as additional customization options for the XM.

Starting with the X1 and X2 crossovers, BMW is introducing Parking Assistant Professional. This innovative feature allows drivers to park their cars using their smartphones as remote controls, even when they are standing outside the vehicle. What sets Parking Assistant Professional apart is its ability to learn and perform steering movements in reverse, making complicated parking maneuvers a breeze. However, this technology is only available to drivers who have the My BMW app and cars running the BMW Operating System 9. It is also necessary for the vehicles to be equipped with both Parking Assistant Plus and Comfort Access. The pricing details haven’t been revealed yet, but BMW will release Parking Assistant Professional through a software update.

On the other end of the spectrum, the 2025 XM now offers exciting new customization options. It will be available in the same stunning colors as the base XM, including Sao Paulo Yellow, Marina Bay Blue Metallic, and Isle of Man Green Metallic. The interior options are equally impressive, with the XM Label offering the same color combinations as the base XM, such as Silverstone and Vintage Coffee, and Deep Lagoon and Vintage Coffee. Moreover, BMW enthusiasts can choose to equip their XM with 23-inch wheels, adding a touch of sportiness and style to the SUV.

BMW is not only focusing on exterior and interior upgrades; it is also enhancing the in-car experience for its customers. The luxury automaker has expanded its suite of in-car gaming titles to include popular games like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, Starlit Kart, Starlit Adventures, and Trivia Crack. This provides passengers with even more entertainment options during their journeys.

Another interesting addition is the Silent Mode feature, which will be available on the 2025 7 Series, the 2025 iX, and the 2025 5 Series. Silent Mode allows drivers to mute the entertainment system, reduce information displayed on the digital instrument cluster, activate a screensaver on the infotainment system’s display, close the sunshades (if equipped), and turn off ambient lighting. This feature is perfect for those times when you want a more serene and quiet driving experience.

While full pricing for BMW’s 2025 range has yet to be announced, it is clear that the automaker is determined to deliver cutting-edge technology, customization options, and an exceptional driving experience to its customers. Whether it’s the advanced parking capabilities of the X1 and X2, the unique color choices and larger wheels for the XM, or the expanded gaming options and Silent Mode for other models, BMW is committed to continuously improving its lineup and providing customers with an unrivaled driving experience in 2025 and beyond.
