“Cadillac Unveils Pricing for 2025 Escalade with Upgraded Features and Higher Prices”

Introducing the 2025 Cadillac Escalade: Luxury at a Price

Cadillac has recently showcased its highly anticipated 2025 Escalade, a vehicle that has become a cultural icon. However, eager shoppers will have to exercise some patience as the SUV won’t be available in dealerships until the beginning of next year. This delay gives potential buyers ample time to prepare their finances, especially considering that the prices for each trim have been increased.

Let’s take a closer look at the pricing details, which include the differences from the 2024 model year:

1. Luxury: $89,590 ($5,700 increase)
2. Premium Luxury: $98,790 ($3,600 increase)
3. Sport: $99,390 ($1,200 increase)
4. Premium Luxury Platinum: $118,390 ($5,700 increase)
5. Sport Platinum: $118,890 ($6,200 increase)
6. V-Series: $161,990 ($7,700 increase)

It’s important to note that these prices are for the two-wheel-drive variants of each trim, except for the V-Series, which only comes with all-wheel drive. If you prefer to have four-wheel drive on the other trims, you can opt for it at an additional cost of $3,000. Furthermore, the ESV version, which offers extra space, would also add another $3,000 to the 2024 model’s price tag.

One notable change in the pricing structure for the 2025 model year is the distinction between the Sport Platinum and Premium Luxury Platinum trims. Previously, these two trim levels were priced identically, but now the Sport Platinum is $500 more expensive.

In terms of performance, the Escalade has undergone some adjustments. With the exception of the V-Series, which retains all-wheel drive, all other trims will be powered by a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The V-Series, on the other hand, boasts a supercharged 6.2-liter engine that delivers an impressive 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque.

Now, let’s explore one of the most exciting updates for the 2025 Escalade: the interior. Cadillac has taken inspiration from the futuristic iQ concept to create a revolutionary interior design. A standout feature is the new 55-inch screen that spans from pillar to pillar, encompassing both the instrument cluster and the infotainment system (measuring 35 and 20 inches, respectively) for both the driver and front passenger. Positioned below this expansive display is the “Command Center” screen, which consolidates controls for various in-demand functions, such as heating, cooling, seat adjustments, vehicle safety features, and camera views. For those who prefer physical controls, a redundant multi-function control knob is also provided.

To accommodate the Command Center and the multifunction control interface, the automatic gear selector has been relocated from the center console to a column-mounted stalk behind a new steering wheel. Additionally, the 2025 Escalade offers several other impressive features inherited from the iQ concept, including an auto-opening driver door, power-operated passenger doors (though not automatic), a 126-color ambient LED lighting system, and the option for a 40-speaker AKG audio system.

In terms of aesthetics, the Escalade receives some updated styling touches. Inspired by the iQ concept, the SUV features signature lighting animation, 24-inch wheels, and three new exterior color options: Aegean Stone (green-grey), Deep Sea Metallic (metallic blue), and Latte Metallic (light bronze). Inside the cabin, Renaissance Red and Sheer Grey join the existing color palette. Additionally, an Executive Second Row Package is available, which incorporates a command display on the center console for rear passengers, complete with tray tables for added convenience. Lastly, the V-Series now offers a carbon fiber trim package as an option.

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade is poised to make a statement in the luxury SUV market. With its elevated prices, it’s clear that Cadillac is positioning this model as the pinnacle of luxury and sophistication. From its stunning iQ-inspired interior to its powerful performance, the Escalade aims to deliver a driving experience that is truly unparalleled.
