Canva Unveils Redesigned Enterprise Platform with New Tools for Businesses

Canva, the popular design platform, is expanding its offerings to cater specifically to businesses with its redesigned Canva Enterprise platform. The company aims to address the increasing demand for visual content in organizations by providing a range of new workplace learning products, editing and video-editing tools, and AI capabilities.

Melanie Perkins, co-founder and CEO of Canva, acknowledges the challenges of navigating organizational complexity in today’s visual content-driven world. She states, “As demand for visual content soars, navigating organizational complexity is more challenging than ever.” Canva’s goal is to unify the fragmented ecosystems of design, AI, and workflow tools for every organization.

According to Canva’s research, 92 percent of business leaders now expect employees to possess design skills, even in non-design roles. This indicates the growing importance of design processes within businesses. Moreover, Canva claims that 95 percent of teams at Fortune 500 companies already use their platform.

Canva Enterprise is specifically aimed at large teams within organizations and offers a range of workspace tools. The platform allows workspaces to customize designs and templates, streamline editing processes, and utilize the updated features in Canva’s Magic Studio. The company recognizes that different teams within an organization have different needs, so they are offering tailored tools for teams in human resources, sales, marketing, and creative departments. These teams can access curated products such as newsletters, sales reports, content calendars, and brand strategy templates.

The updates to Canva’s Magic Studio include features such as generating graphics via text prompts, applying brand colors and templates with a single click, and converting designs to custom documents using prompts or other options. These enhancements aim to make the design process more seamless and efficient for businesses.

In addition to the Canva Enterprise platform, Canva has also released a set of AI tools for free, specifically targeted towards educators. This classroom-focused set of AI tools is available globally for educators to use. Furthermore, Canva announced that eligible teachers, schools, and non-profits can sign up for a waitlist to access Affinity, a photo editing and graphic design software that Canva recently acquired, free-of-cost.

Overall, Canva’s expansion into the business sector with Canva Enterprise demonstrates their commitment to providing organizations with the necessary tools and capabilities to meet the increasing demand for visual content. With their redesigned platform and AI-powered features, Canva aims to streamline design processes and empower employees across various departments within organizations.
