Pixel Perfect Dude has announced that their arcade racing game, #Drive Rally, will be launching in early access on September 25. This announcement was made during the Awesome Indies Showcase at Gamescom. The game is inspired by the racing scene, pop culture, and classic video games from the late ’80s and ’90s.

#Drive Rally will be available on Windows PC, macOS, and Linux via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, including the newly announced Steam Deck. The early access price point will be $20. The release date announcement trailer showcases new tracks, iconic rally cars, and the passionate co-drivers that add charm to the game.

In #Drive Rally, players will have the opportunity to race through over 400 kilometers of diverse rally tracks inspired by real-world locations. The game is an arcade racing title that offers 36 customizable cars divided into 3 unique classes. Players can fine-tune their vehicles to match their driving style. The dynamic co-drivers react to the player’s every move, providing guidance and sharp commentary.

The Early Access edition of #Drive Rally will feature four unique locations with up to 24 stages that can be driven in standard or reversed modes. It will also include a championship mode with a selection of 4 fully voiced co-drivers. Additionally, there will be 12 cars with unique performance stats, offering 36 unique variations across three different classes per car. This allows players to choose a ride that suits their driving style.

Following the launch, Pixel Perfect Dude plans to continue improving #Drive Rally during its early access period. They have planned features such as additional locations, more co-drivers, new championships, brand new cars, car livery customization, and more.

Pixel Perfect Dude is a small but successful game developer from Poland. They are known for their endless driving game, #Drive, available on mobile for Android and Apple iOS, as well as the Nintendo Switch. While #Drive was inspired by action movies and television from the 1970s and 80s, #Drive Rally is the spiritual successor within the same universe, aiming to deliver an excellent arcade driving game experience inspired by the ’90s.

The studio has a track record of success, with over 25 million players and multiple “Game of the Year” awards and nominations. Their goal is to produce high-quality entertainment for all gaming platforms.
