Introducing the 2025 Lincoln Navigator: A Grand and High-Tech Luxury SUV

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator is here, and it’s more grand-looking and technologically advanced than ever before. This marks the fifth generation of Lincoln’s luxury SUV, and while its core features remain the same, it boasts a completely refreshed appearance and interior experience. Under the hood, the Navigator still features body-on-frame construction, independent rear suspension, and the powerful 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

On the outside, the 2025 Navigator sports a striking new grille design that exudes confidence and is accompanied by a bold light bar for enhanced visual presence. The “Lincoln Embrace” feature greets you with a captivating animation as you approach the vehicle, and the full-width taillights showcase new light-up “3D” badging. The traditional chrome accents have been replaced with satin aluminum trim accents, and there’s an option for a Jet Black Appearance package with glossy black trim. Additionally, the 2025 Navigator comes standard with 22-inch wheels, but you can upgrade to the new 24-inch wheels for extra style.

One standout feature on the exterior is the “Lincoln Split Gate,” a split tailgate similar to those found on BMWs and Range Rovers. This innovative design allows for easier loading and unloading and can even be used as a seat when parked, with a weight capacity of 600 pounds. Lincoln offers a “Cargo Tailgate Manager” option that can function as a seatback, a table for tailgating events, or help create a multi-level storage area in the cargo space.

Step inside, and you’ll find a truly revolutionary feature in the form of a 48-inch panoramic display that spans the entire width of the dashboard. This expansive screen is operated via an updated version of Lincoln’s Digital Experience setup, which includes an 11.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering wheel thumb controls, and voice commands. The Navigator also offers video streaming and in-vehicle games on the giant panoramic display, but these features are only accessible when the vehicle is in park. Powered by Android Automotive, the infotainment system provides access to Google Maps for navigation and the Google Assistant for voice commands. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility are also included.

Passengers in the second row will enjoy an enhanced experience with the available “Second-Row Power Tailored Seats.” These captain’s chairs come with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, and can be easily moved with the touch of a button to provide access to the third row. The third row is optionally heated and features a 40/20/40 folding configuration. Additionally, the 2025 Navigator is equipped with a total of 14 USB ports throughout the cabin, ensuring that everyone has ample power for their devices. The second row even has an optional wireless phone charger.

Lincoln has paid great attention to luxury and craftsmanship in the interior of the 2025 Navigator. The company offers two new Black Label themes: Enlighten and Atmospheric. Enlighten combines beige, brown, gray, and black tones with laser-etched birch wood trim to create a sunrise-inspired theme. Atmospheric, on the other hand, features gray, black, and copper colors throughout, with ash wood trim and Radiant Copper accents on the grille, fender badging, and 24-inch wheels. This is the first time Lincoln has extended a Black Label’s interior theme to the exterior of a vehicle.

To enhance the luxury experience even further, the 2025 Navigator offers “Rejuvenate” programs that provide 5-10-minute sequences of relaxation. These programs, such as “Waterfall Meditation” and “Aurora Borealis,” activate massaging seats, adjust ambient lighting, fill the cabin with fragrance, and display corresponding visuals on the screens. The vehicle also boasts a 28-speaker Revel audio system to accompany the experience.

In terms of safety and convenience, the 2025 Navigator comes with BlueCruise, Lincoln’s hands-free driving system, as a standard feature for four years. After that, a subscription is required to continue using it. A new “Turn Signal View” feature displays a live video feed of your blind spot on the 48-inch screen when you activate the turn signal. Additionally, the Navigator offers Intersection Assist, which can automatically brake the vehicle when making a left turn to prevent accidents with oncoming traffic.

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator is expected to go on sale next spring, with pricing details to be announced closer to the launch date. With its impressive array of features and luxurious design, the new Navigator is set to elevate the driving experience for those in search of a premium three-row SUV.
