Introducing the Phantom Scintilla: A Celebration of Elegance and Luxury Inspired by the Spirit of Ecstasy

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has unveiled a remarkable collection of 10 cars called the Phantom Scintilla. The collection pays homage to the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy, which adorns the hood of every Rolls-Royce vehicle. Celebrating the ethereal beauty and legacy of the statuette, the Phantom Scintilla showcases exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The ultra-luxury Phantom sedan, one of the ten limited edition vehicles, is currently being displayed at the prestigious Monterey Car Week event. However, it’s important not to get too excited, as all ten units have already been sold, with only three of them making their way to the United States.

The Phantom Scintilla is a sight to behold. Its roof is coated in Andalusian White, while Thracian Blue covers the lower half of the car. A striking ceramic white rendition of the Spirit of Ecstasy sits proudly on the hood, taking inspiration from the Winged Victory of Samothrace, an ancient Greek statue.

Stepping inside the vehicle, one is greeted with a true display of opulence. The seats and doors feature cloth upholstery with an intricate flowing graphic design. However, Rolls-Royce did not settle for ordinary screen printing; instead, they employed an impressive 869,500 stitches of embroidery. The headliner boasts Rolls-Royce’s signature Starlight illumination motif, which consists of 1,500 tiny fiber-optic lights arranged in a mesmerizing wavy pattern.

But the centerpiece of the interior is the Celestial Pulse Gallery artwork. This stunning centerpiece consists of seven individually milled aluminum ribbons, finished in the same ceramic color as the statuette. The combination of intricate embroidery, starlight illumination, and celestial artwork creates an ambiance unlike any other.

Although the horsepower figure may seem trivial for a vehicle of this caliber, Rolls-Royce has ensured that the Phantom Scintilla possesses impressive power. It is equipped with a 563-horsepower twin-turbo V-12 engine, which is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Additionally, the car features a pothole-spotting camera that aids in adapting the suspension to road imperfections, offering an unparalleled smooth ride.

Rolls-Royce CEO Chris Brownbridge expressed his enthusiasm for the Private Collection, stating that these rare and collectible motor cars are true masterpieces. He emphasized that they showcase the exceptional creativity and skill of the craftsmen at Rolls-Royce and serve as inspiration for clients who may seek their own bespoke commissions.

In conclusion, the Phantom Scintilla collection exemplifies Rolls-Royce’s commitment to craftsmanship, luxury, and artistic expression. With every detail meticulously designed and executed, these limited edition vehicles are more than just cars; they are true works of art that evoke a sense of wonder and admiration. While it may be disappointing that all ten cars have already been sold, the Phantom Scintilla serves as a testament to the enduring allure and desirability of Rolls-Royce vehicles.
