“Lamborghini Unveils One-of-a-Kind Revuelto Opera Unica Inspired by Sardinian Coast”

Lamborghini’s Revuelto: A Masterpiece of Artistic Personalization

In the world of luxury automobiles, Lamborghini has always been synonymous with high-performance and cutting-edge design. Their latest creation, the Revuelto, takes things a step further with a stunning display of artistic personalization. Not satisfied with just one show-stopper, Lamborghini has rolled out not one, but two one-off examples of the Revuelto, each showcasing the unparalleled capabilities of their Ad Personam personalization division.

The first of these unique works is the Opera Unica, meaning “unique work” in Italian. Unveiled at the prestigious Art Basel show in Miami, the Opera Unica is a purely artistic exercise that pushes the boundaries of automotive design. The bodywork alone took a staggering 435 hours to paint, while the interior required an additional 220 hours of painstaking work. The result is a true masterpiece that seamlessly combines automotive engineering with the world of fine art.

Not content to rest on their laurels, Lamborghini continued to push the boundaries of creativity with a second Revuelto Opera Unica. This time, the inspiration came from the stunning coastline of Sardinia, Italy. Unveiled at the luxurious Hotel Cala di Volpe on the island’s Emerald Coast, this one-off creation pays homage to the vibrant blues of the sea.

The Lamborghini artists went to extraordinary lengths to capture the essence of the coastline. Using brushes, trowels, spatulas, and more, they meticulously applied layer upon layer of paint by hand, resulting in a mesmerizing 475-hour paint job. The shades of blue, from Light Blu Tawaret to Blu Cepheus and Blu Okeanos, create a sense of movement, evoking the ebb and flow of the ocean waves.

Stephan Winkelmann, the CEO of Lamborghini, expressed his pride in this exceptional creation, saying, “This Opera Unica takes our creativity a step further, demonstrating paint techniques and interior finishes that are reserved for Opera Unica one-offs, presenting a truly unique art-piece reflecting the distinctive seascape and emotions of Italy’s most beautiful island destination.”

The attention to detail goes beyond the exterior, as the interior of the Revuelto Opera Unica is a testament to Lamborghini’s dedication to craftsmanship. While the exact time spent on the interior remains a mystery, we do know that it took 85 hours just to create the tool required for the embroidered accents on the seats. The colors chosen for the thread, including Blu Amon, Blu Cepheus, and Bianco Leda, further accentuate the theme of flowing waves. These threads weave their way throughout the cabin, contrasting against the primary colors of Blu Delphinus and the lighter Blu Amon.

Even the start button of the Revuelto Opera Unica embraces the wavy aesthetic. A Blu Mira Carbon plaque on the rear bulkhead acts as a signature for this extraordinary artwork, leaving no doubt that this piece is a true masterpiece.

Underneath the mesmerizing exterior, the Revuelto continues to impress with its gasoline-electric plug-in hybrid drivetrain. A powerful 6.5-liter V12 engine is paired with three electric motors and a 3.8-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack, resulting in an awe-inspiring 1,001 horsepower and 793 pound-feet of torque. This combination of raw power and eco-friendly technology showcases Lamborghini’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.

While it remains uncertain where these one-of-a-kind creations will ultimately end up, Lamborghini’s Revuelto Opera Unica serves as a reminder that automotive design is not limited to functionality alone. Through the Ad Personam personalization division, Lamborghini has elevated the art of car customization to new heights. The Revuelto Opera Unica showcases the perfect blend of artistic expression and engineering excellence, making it a true masterpiece on wheels. And for those with a desire for their own bespoke luxury vehicle, Lamborghini’s message is clear: if you can dream it, they can bring it to life.
