The T03, priced at a competitive £15,995, positions itself as the second-cheapest electric car available in the UK, just £1,000 more than the Dacia Spring. Both vehicles are compact four-seaters, akin to the Kia Picanto, but the T03 stands out with its higher ride, a trait made possible by its underbody battery design. This added height not only enhances its visual appeal but also provides a more commanding view of the road.
One of the T03’s significant advantages is its impressive standard equipment. While the entry-level Dacia Spring lacks an infotainment display, the T03 is equipped with a generous 10.1-inch touchscreen that integrates controls for climate and media functions. Both models will be sold through Leapmotor International, a joint venture between Leapmotor and Stellantis, with production commencing at the former Fiat 500 plant in Tychy, Poland. Order books for these models are set to open soon, with deliveries expected to commence in December.
