Netflix to Open First In-Person Experience Centres in 2025: Bridging the Gap Between Streaming and Real Life

Netflix to Open In-Person Experience Centers in 2025

Netflix recently announced its plans to open two permanent in-person experience centers in the United States in 2025. The company aims to provide its customers with immersive experiences based on its popular shows like Bridgerton, Money Heist, Stranger Things, and The Squid Game.

The first Netflix House will be located at the King of Prussia Mall near Philadelphia, while the second one will be situated at the Galleria mall in Dallas. These malls, both historically known as department stores, will be transformed into venues larger than 100,000 square feet, offering live experiences and exclusive shopping, dining, and drinking options.

Netflix has been experimenting with live experiences in various cities worldwide, and these new centers will further extend those experiences. The company’s Chief Marketing Officer, Marian Lee, stated that these venues will bring their cherished stories to life in fresh, dynamic, and unexpected ways. Customers will have the opportunity to engage in regularly updated immersive experiences, indulge in retail therapy, and enjoy unique food and drink offerings inspired by their favorite shows and films.

The decision to choose these locations was based on their placement within renowned shopping complexes. Netflix aims to create a full-circle experience for its viewers by transforming these spaces into vibrant and interactive environments. During the events held at the centers, wall murals and sculptures depicting well-known characters will adorn the exterior walls.

While Netflix plans to offer a range of experiences, there are currently no disclosed plans for the inclusion of movie theaters. However, with Netflix’s track record of innovation and customer-centric approach, it wouldn’t be surprising if they introduce additional features in the future.

Overall, Netflix’s decision to open these in-person experience centers showcases its commitment to providing unique and engaging content beyond the screen. By bringing their stories to life in tangible ways, Netflix aims to deepen the connection between its viewers and their favorite shows and films. With the growing demand for immersive experiences, these centers have the potential to become sought-after destinations for fans and enthusiasts alike.
