“New Audi A3: Pricing, Specs, and Design Upgrades for 2024 Models”

New Audi A3: Pricing and Specification Details Revealed

The new Audi A3 has undergone a wide-reaching overhaul for 2024 in both saloon and Sportback guises. The pricing and specification details have been revealed, with the A3 Sportback starting at £32,035 and the saloon priced slightly higher at £32,600. Both variants are available to order now.

The standard features of the A3 include LED headlights, electric sports seats, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless phone charging, and voice control. In addition, Audi has included other equipment as standard for the first time on the A3 model range, such as Audi’s digital cockpit, front and rear parking sensors, heated seats, and three-zone climate control.

The mid-range S-Line models come with larger 18-inch wheels, ambient lighting, a flat-bottomed sports steering wheel, S-line styling cues, and sports suspension. For those looking for a more stylish option, the Black Edition cars feature 19-inch wheels, fabric interior trim, a black exterior styling pack, and the unique feature of projecting the Audi logo onto the ground when opening the door.

Under the hood, the revamped A3 offers a choice of two powertrains: the 35 TFSI 1.5-liter mild-hybrid petrol and the 35 TDI 2.0-liter diesel. Both units provide an unchanged 148bhp. Later this year, Audi will launch additional engine options, including a revamped plug-in hybrid.

The Audi A3 has received a modernized interior, trick new lights, and a more powerful S3 among its updates for 2024. The focus of the exterior makeover was to make the car look more dynamic. The front of the car features a revamped, wider hexagonal grille with the Audi rings now protruding from the top. The front also includes new side air intakes and a reshaped spoiler to create a lower appearance. At the back, there is a new bumper and diffuser unit inspired by the legendary RS2 Avant.

One of the notable changes to the A3 is the inclusion of four different daytime running light signatures that users can switch between to personalize their car’s appearance. Each signature has its own distinctive graphic when the car is locked or unlocked.

Inside the A3, Audi has focused on adding extra standard kit and digital technology. All trim levels now feature Audi’s Virtual Cockpit digital instrument display and a three-spoke steering wheel. The center console has been redesigned to include an armrest as standard and a smaller gear selector for the automatic transmission. The air vents have also been revamped, and the standard interior lighting has been revised, including backlit doors and contour lights in the center console and cupholders.

Audi has also introduced a new optional stereo system with a Sonos unit replacing the previous B&O system. The infotainment system has been updated and runs on a 10.1-inch central display. In certain markets, Audi will offer several functions on demand, such as adaptive cruise control, high-beam assist, and two-zone air conditioning.

Overall, the new Audi A3 offers a range of enhancements and updates, both inside and out, to provide a more dynamic and technologically advanced driving experience. The inclusion of standard features and improved digital technology adds value to the car and enhances the overall driving experience.
