GWM Ora 03, also known as the Funky Cat in the UK, is finally receiving a software update that will allow owners to use smartphone mirroring services such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This long-awaited update comes after months of anticipation and requests from customers on owner’s forums. Until now, GWM had only promised that the software would be available “soon,” leaving many owners frustrated and resorting to aftermarket installations.
The software update will be installed on all current and future Ora 03/Funky Cat models for free. It has been extensively tested to ensure compatibility with the electric hatchback’s infotainment system, which features two 10.25-inch displays. When customers enter their vehicles, they will be prompted to connect their phones, making the pairing process seamless.

The Pure+ model is equipped with a 48kWh battery, offering a total range of 193 miles. On the other hand, the Pro+ model comes with a larger 63kWh battery, providing a range of 260 miles.
