RocketLane Raises $24M in Funding to Expand AI-Powered Service Delivery Platform

RocketLane, a California-based SaaS startup, has announced that it has raised $24 million in a series B funding round led by 8VC, Matrix Partners India, and Nexus Venture Partners. This brings RocketLane’s total capital raised to $45 million, which will be used to further develop the company’s platform into an AI-powered offering. This aligns with a global trend where SaaS vendors are integrating AI into their products to meet the increasing demands from customers.

RocketLane aims to simplify post-sales service delivery for enterprises. While signing up a customer is important, delivering adequate service is equally crucial. Many teams today use a mix of different tools for post-sale workflows, which can lead to inaccuracies and delays. RocketLane solves this problem by providing enterprises with an all-in-one service delivery platform that brings visibility and accountability to both clients and internal teams. The platform offers project management capabilities, document collaboration, forms, customer satisfaction surveys, and more.

With the new funding, RocketLane plans to build an AI layer across its product in four key areas: operations, project delivery, governance, and insights. The company has already started rolling out AI in operations, streamlining resource management and providing forecasted utilization and margins on projects. In terms of project delivery, RocketLane plans to bring AI-powered automations to activities such as creating hand-off documents and meeting notes. For governance, AI will help identify risks in projects and surface deviations from playbooks. And for insights, the company will build a copilot interface where users can query in plain English and get data on their post-sale KPIs.

RocketLane has over 500 enterprise customers, including major technology players like Live Person, Icertis, and Salesloft. The company’s revenues have been growing over 3x annually for the past two years, and it aims to attract more paying customers with its new AI capabilities. In addition to AI, RocketLane plans to use the funding to hire talent, focus on community-first efforts through events and content, and launch a client-centric portal.

Overall, RocketLane’s AI-powered offering has the potential to greatly improve post-sales service delivery for enterprises. By streamlining workflows and providing real-time visibility and insights, RocketLane can help businesses deliver a better customer experience and drive growth.
