“Rolls-Royce Unveils Updated Cullinan SUV with Enhanced Styling and Technology Options”

Rolls-Royce has recently unveiled the updated version of its best-selling Cullinan SUV, six years after its initial launch. The new Cullinan features a range of updates, including refreshed styling, an upgraded interior, advanced technology, and an array of new customization options. While the base price is expected to increase slightly to around £330,000, Rolls-Royce aims to provide an even more personalized and luxurious experience for its customers.

Acknowledging that many Cullinan owners use their cars daily in urban environments but also embark on long trips and occasional off-road adventures, Rolls-Royce has focused on making the SUV “effortless, everywhere.” This means that the Cullinan is designed to be equally at home in city streets and natural landscapes. According to Rolls-Royce designer Anders Warming, the facelifted Cullinan emphasizes the vehicle’s verticality, drawing inspiration from illuminated skyscrapers in megacities. The front of the Cullinan has been restyled with sleek feature lines and crisp edges, and the LED daytime-running lights now run down the edges of the fascia, creating the effect of a yacht breaking through water. The grille has also been updated with a new look and now lights up for the first time.

The rear of the Cullinan features a new bumper design with a stainless steel skidplate, and the wheels have been increased to 23 inches in diameter. The more extroverted Cullinan Black Badge variant stands out with black door handles, color-coded lower bodywork, and a unique treatment for the air intakes.

Inside the cabin, the Cullinan boasts a headline upgrade in the form of a full-width glass panel across the dashboard. This panel features an illuminated cityscape motif in front of the passenger, reminiscent of the one found in the Spectre. Another highlight is the new display cabinet in the dash, which houses an intricately detailed analogue clock and a miniaturized stainless steel version of the Spirit of Ecstasy mascot. The Cullinan also receives the latest version of Rolls-Royce’s Spirit infotainment system, offering new graphics and displays. Notably, owners can now customize the colors of their instruments to match the paintwork or upholstery.

Rolls-Royce has expanded its personalization options for the Cullinan, introducing new paint and material choices. These include ‘Grey Stained Ash,’ a metallic-effect open-pore wood trim, ‘Duality Twill,’ an intricately patterned seat fabric made of bamboo fibers, and ‘Placed Perforation,’ which features highly detailed patterns created with hundreds of tiny holes on the leather upholstery.

Overall, the updated Rolls-Royce Cullinan represents the most extensive Series II development in the brand’s history. It combines modern styling, advanced technology, and unparalleled personalization options to offer a truly luxurious and bespoke SUV experience. With its effortless performance on city streets and its ability to blend into nature, the Cullinan caters to the needs and desires of discerning customers who seek both opulence and versatility in their luxury vehicles.
