The video shows a pedal cover coming loose and sliding up the pedal, which then gets wedged in an indent on the floor of the vehicle. This issue occurs when the accelerator is pushed all the way down, causing the Cybertruck to go “full throttle.” The owner was able to stop the vehicle by holding down the brake pedal, but it would immediately accelerate again once they released the brake.
The Cybertruck has faced criticism from customers since its initial release. Complaints about shoddy build quality, random braking and accelerating, and various other issues have plagued the vehicle.
