“The 2025 BMW 2 Series: Refreshed Design, Enhanced Tech, and New Color Options”

The 2025 BMW 2 Series is receiving its first refresh, bringing with it a range of updates and enhancements. The exterior design remains largely unchanged, with the addition of new color options such as Vegas Red Metallic and Zandvoort Blue. The M240i variant receives new “M” badges and offers new 19-inch wheel designs, as well as the option for the M Sport Professional Package.

Under the hood, both the 230i and M240i retain their powertrains. The 230i is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, while the M240i boasts a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine with 382 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Both models are available with rear-wheel drive or xDrive all-wheel drive, and come exclusively with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Moving on to the interior, BMW has made significant revisions to the center stack, integrating the brand’s latest air vent design and reducing the number of buttons and controls. The infotainment system now runs on iDrive 8.5, an improvement over the previous software. The interior also features enhanced ambient lighting with nine color options, a new two-spoke wheel for the 230i, and a flat-bottom steering wheel with M tricolor stitching for the M240i or M Sport Package on the 230i. Additional updates include a new Tacora Red interior color option and optional open-pore wood trim designs.

In terms of pricing, the 2025 2 Series sees a modest increase of $580 across all versions, partially due to a rise in the destination charge from $995 to $1,175. The starting prices for each variant are as follows: 230i ($40,375), 230i xDrive ($43,375), M240i ($51,275), and M240i xDrive ($53,274).

These updates to the 2025 BMW 2 Series enhance its overall appeal and bring it in line with the latest technology and design trends. The new color options add a fresh touch to the exterior, while the improved center stack and infotainment system make for a more streamlined and user-friendly interior. The M badges and wheel options on the M240i give it a sportier look, appealing to performance enthusiasts.

With its range of updates and enhancements, the 2025 BMW 2 Series offers buyers a more refined and technologically advanced package. Whether you’re in the market for a stylish coupe or a high-performance model, the 2 Series aims to deliver with its refreshed design and upgraded features.
