“The New Bentley Flying Spur: Unveiling Next Week with Ultra Performance Hybrid Powertrain”

Bentley to Unveil New Flying Spur with Ultra Performance Hybrid Powertrain

Bentley is set to reveal the new Flying Spur next week, equipped with the same Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain that made its debut in the new Continental GT Speed. This powertrain combines a 4.0-litre V8 engine with a gearbox-mounted electric motor, delivering an impressive 771bhp and 738lb ft of torque to all four wheels. The new Flying Spur will be the most powerful and quickest Bentley saloon yet, matching the power figures of the Continental GT Speed coupe. It can accelerate from 0 to 62mph in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 208mph.

The Most Efficient Bentley Yet

The new Flying Spur also boasts impressive efficiency, making it the most efficient Bentley model to date. While the official figures haven’t been released yet, the previous 6.0-litre W12 model achieved 22.6mpg. Bentley did confirm that the new Flying Spur will have an electric-only range of 45 miles, thanks to its hybrid powertrain. This will significantly reduce emissions and fuel consumption, making it a more environmentally friendly option for luxury car enthusiasts.

Refreshed Design and Enhanced Dynamics

Although the new Flying Spur is technically an update of the current third-generation model, it is expected to receive significant enhancements. Similar to its sibling, the Continental GT, the new Flying Spur is rumored to offer a wider breadth of dynamic capabilities. Bentley claims that 68% of the parts in the Continental GT were new, resulting in it being homologated as a new car. This suggests that the new Flying Spur will also see substantial upgrades to its chassis, suspension, and stability control system. Additionally, the preview images reveal a slightly reworked design, featuring refreshed front air intakes and a different grille.

The Reveal

Excitement is building as the covers for the new Bentley Flying Spur will be pulled off on September 10th at 12:30 pm. Car enthusiasts and Bentley fans alike are eagerly awaiting the official unveiling to see the full extent of the updates and improvements made to this luxury saloon. With its powerful hybrid powertrain, improved efficiency, and enhanced dynamics, the new Flying Spur is set to make a strong statement in the luxury car market.
