“Volkswagen ID 2all Hatch: Production Version Looks Even Better than Concept”

Volkswagen’s highly anticipated electric hatchback, the ID 2all, is set to hit the market in early 2025. Design chief Andreas Mindt claims that the production version of the ID 2all looks even better than the concept, which received a positive reaction. The ID 2all will be the first model to use Volkswagen Group’s MEB Entry platform. It will feature a long wheelbase, providing ample interior space, and a 490-litre boot. The ID 2all will be front-wheel drive and offer a range of up to 280 miles.

In addition to the hatchback, Volkswagen plans to release a GTI variant and a higher-riding crossover model called the ID 2X. The crossover will have a more upright and self-confident design, matching the brand’s values. The MEB Entry platform will also be used for other models, including a Cupra crossover and a compact crossover with rugged styling.

The ID 2all concept showcases Volkswagen’s new design language for future electric vehicles. The company aims to embrace its heritage and differentiate itself from competitors. The ID 2all draws inspiration from classic Volkswagen models like the Beetle, Golf, and Polo. The revamped front end features upwardly rising elements that give the car a confident and likeable appearance.

Volkswagen is also revamping its interior design approach based on customer feedback. The ID 2all concept introduces physical buttons and controls, moving away from the touchscreen-heavy approach of previous models. The new interior design features soft-touch materials, limited use of hard plastics, and a mix of fabrics for a more sustainable and luxurious feel. The concept also includes clever storage features and advanced assistance systems.

The ID 2all is part of Volkswagen’s ambitious plan to launch 10 electric vehicles by 2026. The company aims to make Volkswagen a genuine love brand by combining its iconic design elements with cutting-edge technology and customer-centric features. The ID 2all concept is a manifesto for this vision, showcasing Volkswagen’s commitment to stability, likeability, and excitement in its future models.

Overall, the ID 2all represents Volkswagen’s dedication to the electric vehicle market and its determination to create innovative and appealing electric models. With its stylish design, spacious interior, and advanced features, the ID 2all is poised to be a game-changer in the affordable electric hatchback segment.
