A teenager in Swat kills himself while filming a TikTok video on Wednesday. He accidentally pulled the trigger of the loaded pistol while filming the video says police in the initial reports.
Hamidullah, 19, pulled the trigger of a loaded TT pistol in the Kabal area of Swat and died on spot. His friends who were with him while filming the video immediately rushed him to the nearby hospital but doctors had pronounced him dead upon arrival.
Video of the teenager accidentally killing himself went viral on social media creating further panic among people of the area. Police had sent the body for autopsy and initiated further investigation.

“This boy was pretending to commit suicide with a loaded pistol. He put the gun on his head and then it suddenly misfired. The unfortunate youngster died on the spot as he was directly hit in the head. There was no chance of survival,” said a Police official talking to Express Tribune.
Police informed that they had received the video in which Hamidullah loaded the gun and put the gun on his head in a prank.

The teenager was currently enrolled in a college and was an avid user of the video-sharing platform. He started making his videos of the video-sharing platform recently.
According to the family members, Hamidullah took the gun from home but did not know there was a bullet inside.
This is not the first time tragic incidents have happened while filming TikTok videos. The incident happened just a month after the restoration of the application in Pakistan.
Earlier this week, Punjab Police had arrested a man filming videos of girls passing streets without consent on TikTok. The man posted the videos of the girls on the video-sharing app. Some of the videos showed him harassing the girls in the video.

The video showed him making lewd expressions at girls crossing the street without any fear. Social media activist-turned-anchorperson Maleeha Hashmey posted the video on her Twitter account and demanded the authorities to take action against the boys in the video.
