The Legend of Maula Jatt receives rave reviews from cinemagoers

The remake of the 1979 cult classic The Legend of Maula Jatt is receiving rave reviews globally. The much-hyped film, rightly so, was released on October 13th after much delay.

The star-studded film is receiving appreciation and rave views from the audiences. Bilal Lashari is the director and cinematographer of the movie. The film has already won the hearts of the cinemagoers.

According to the latest reports, the film is doing brilliantly at the box office inside and outside Pakistan. The film is budgeted between Rs. 45 crores and Rs.55 crores. The film has earned Rs 9.3 crore (Rs 93 million); collecting 4.9 crores domestically and Rs 4.4 internationally.

Film critics say usually such big-budgeted films fail to impress on release, but The Legend of Maula Jatt stands apart with special attention given to details in the movie. Fawad Khan essays the role of Maula Jatt, and Hamza Ali Abbasi plays antagonist Noori Nath. Fans are in awe of the performances of these two leading actors in Pakistan’s film industry. Fans believe that Pakistan’s film industry has finally produced a movie at par with international standards. The Legend of Maula Jatt has set the bar high and is credited for reviving Pakistani cinema.

A cinemagoer Syed Zain Raza has combined a thread on Twitter and analyses the good and bad aspects of the movie. He appreciates the performances of Hamza, Fawad, and Humaima; believes Mahira Khan could have spiced up her performances a bit more.
