An unidentified women was on Wednesday night allegedly gang-raped in front of her children in the Gujjarpura area of the Lahore-Sialkot motorway, Geo News reported.
According to initial reports, the car the woman and her children were in had been parked on the side of the motorway when the assailants attacked the woman by breaking into the vehicle.
Assailants broke in through the victim’s car screen
Geo News reports that the attackers broke the car screen, dragged the woman and her children out of the car.
They then proceeded to cut the steel mesh that protects the motorway and forcefully hauled the woman to the bushes nearby to allegedly assault her.

“It hurt me, reporting this story, it hurt my heart,” Ahmed Faraz, who broke the story, said in a heavy voice. The woman had been going to Gujranwala along with her children when her car ran out of petrol and she was stranded in the middle of the motorway. She called her relatives before calling the motorway police.
Motorway police had said no one had authority over patch
The motorway police, according to sources, had said that no one had authority over that patch.

The two unknown attackers also took some cash the woman had with her and her jewellery as well. More details on the story are awaited.
