The Rock Dwayne Johnson may step in Bollywood soon

Wrestler turned Hollywood's superstar, The Rock Dwayne Johnson is looking forward to work in Bollywood. He anticipates he would enjoy working in India with a few Bollywood friends and a large fan following in the country.

Hollywood’s superstar, ‘The Rock’ Dwayne Johnson, expressed his willingness to work in Bollywood. Johnson asserted that it would be fun to work in Bollywood, in response to a question about his plans to work in India’s film industry.

Johnson was all praise for Bollywood and mentioned that he is friends with a few Indian actors including Priyanka Chopra and Varun Dhawan.

Priyanka Chopra performed alongside Dwayne Johnson in ‘Baywatch’ while he interacted with Varun Dhawan on social media. Johnson added that Dhawan is his big fan who reached him on Instagram, appreciating his work and humble gesture.

“I wouldn’t rule that out. I have a lot of respect for Bollywood and the history of Bollywood,” Dwayne told Indian news agency.

Talking about Dhawan, he said: “He is such a big fan. I’ve interacted with him before on social media. And I know, he is a big star in India… Yeah, so maybe one day, you never know, you could see me in a Bollywood action movie.

Adding that, it would fun ‘because I know that we have a lot of wonderful fans in India, and we have talked about that. So, maybe one day (you could see me in a Bollywood movie).’

Dwayne the ‘Rock Johnson’, a wrestler-turned-actor, and a box-office superstar is currently associated with such as “The Mummy Returns”, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, “Hercules”, “Snitch”, “Moana”.

Jumanji: The Next Level, with which he was associated with as the producer as well, released last week, had stacked up $52.5 million following its international release in 18 territories.

Next year, we will also see him star with Emily Blunt in the Disney adventure Jungle Cruise. A large sum of his earnings came from his back-end deals which gave him a profit of 15% on box-office earnings.

The actor left his wrestling career in 2014 and went on a seven-year hiatus before returning in 2011 as a part-time performer until 2013, before retiring in 2019… The actor tied the knot with glamorous singer-songwriter Lauren Hashian, 34 — mother to his daughters Jasmine, four, and Tiana, one, after 12 years of relationship.

The actor is equally popular on social media following his admission of surviving woeful depression, last year. The actor currently enjoys a whopping 14.1 million following on Twitter a whacking increase from 12.7 million followers within a year from 2018.

Johnson rose to prominence as a professional wrestler “The Rock” in the 1990s and has been considering entering into politics soon. According to Forbes, he was Hollywood’s second-highest-paid actor, earning $65 million in 2017.

He inspired his millions of fans with his tale of battling years-long depression.

The actor made a shocking revelation once that he sunk into years of depression after watching his mother attempting to commit suicide.

The actor said he experienced a dark period in life where he constantly cried and did not want to do anything. He after his conversation with an international publication took to his social media and posted a message that encouraged men suffering from depression to open up and seek help.

In his heartfelt message, Dwayne Johnson, in his social media post encouraged his followers to seek assistance to deal with depression and not to reel on with a mood disorder that can even cause people to take their lives.
