‘This is how we Punjab’: Norwegian dance group takes Pakistan by storm

A Norwegian dance group, Quick Style, has danced to the beat of Abrar-ul-Haq’s upbeat song, ‘Nach Punjaban’ on Instagram. The group released the video on Oct 1st. Since then, the video is widely circulating on social media.

The video show a group of boys making synchronized dance steps on the song. The video gained traction among the Pakistani fans and bhangra music lovers. The group captioned the video on Instagram. “This is how we Punjabi,” on the video.

The group rose to fame after winning the ‘Norway’s Got Talent’ in 2009. The group even won 500,000 NOK. Their victory led to the Sony Music signing them.

The group even runs a YouTube channel where they regularly upload their dance routines. They have nearly 360,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel.

According to an internet user, the group was formed by two twin brothers of Pakistani descent along with their friend.

However, this is not the first time the group danced on a Pakistani beat. Earlier, they danced to the evergreen 80’s song ‘Hawa Hawa’. However, the group has rose to fame following their viral video of dancing on Abrar-ul-Haq’s song.
