TLP announces gathering at Faizabad

The leaders of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan have called all the supporters to Faizabad

TLP has asked its workers to gather at Faizabad on August 13 following the party’s plans to organise the Nazriya Pakistan March and Conference.

Muhammad Amjad Rizvi, TLP’s Information Secretary , announced that TLP sought permission to organise a public gathering at Parade Ground in Islamabad. Pir Inayatul Haq Shah also said that the TLP had given an application to the Islamabad administration more than a month ago seeking permission to hold the conference at the Parade Ground.

TLP was denied permission to gather in Parade Ground in Islamabad. The additional deputy commissioner and the AC did not grant permission for the purpose due to sanctity associated with the month of Muharram.

Muhammad Amjad Rizvi complained that PTI was granted permission by Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah to hold a jalsa at the venue while Sanaullah denied approval to his party-TLP. He said that the party will now gather its workers in Faizabad on August 13 to mark the Nazriya Pakistan March and Conference.

“Are we from India?” TLP’s information secretary questioned, protesting that the party is registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan, and if Imran Khan is allowed to hold a jalsa, then why not TLP.

TLP leader Pir Inayatul Haq Shah also announced that the Nazriya-e-Pakistan Conference will be held at the end of the march on the Faizabad bridge. The march and conference will be addressed by TLP emir, chief Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi.

Tehreek-e-Labbaik has urged all its workers to reach Liaquat Bagh at 4pm on August 13.

Meawhile, PTI has decided to change the venue of its upcoming August 13 power show from Islamabad’s Parade Ground to the Hockey Stadium in Lahore. The decision was made amid the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan’s (TLP) announcement of holding a public meeting the same day at the Faizabad Interchange.
