Travis Kelce Surprises Fans by Joining Taylor Swift on Stage During ‘Eras Tour’

Dressed in a top hat and tails, The Kansas City Chiefs player joined the singer on stage for I Can Do It With a Broken Heart as a dancer.

Taylor Swift performed at the third and final night of the Eras tour’s London stop on Sunday evening, surprising fans with a special guest appearance by her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Dressed in a tailcoat and top hat, Kelce made a dramatic entrance during the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” transition at Wembley Stadium, sweeping Swift off her feet. He then joined Swift’s dancers, who were similarly attired, for a brief routine. The surprises didn’t end there, as Swift was later joined by her friend and frequent opening act, Gracie Abrams. The duo performed their song “Us” during the acoustic surprise-songs segment.

“Us” is a track Swift and Abrams co-wrote for Abrams’ new album, “The Secret of Us,” released on Friday. Swift began the acoustic segment by performing a significant portion of the song solo, before pausing to welcome Abrams, who walked down the ramp to the B-stage. Swift shared the story of their quick songwriting session before they restarted the song as a duet, with Abrams on piano and Swift on acoustic guitar.

After Abrams’ departure, Swift performed the second surprise song of the night, an acoustic rendition of the “1989” favorite “Out of the Woods,” which she briefly mashed up with another track from the album, “Clean.”

Although not an official special guest, Paul McCartney became a trending topic on X when he was spotted dancing to “But Daddy I Love Him!” on the floor of the arena. Sunday night marked the last of three shows at Wembley Stadium, but Swift will return in August for five more shows to conclude the European leg of the Eras tour.

Several celebrities, including Hugh Grant, Tom Cruise, Liam Hemsworth, Rachel Zegler, Mila Kunis, and Ashton Kutcher, attended Swift’s second London show on Saturday night. In a post on X, Grant wrote: “Dear @taylorswift13, You have an incredible show, an amazing and very hospitable team, and an excellent if gigantic boyfriend (#tequilashots). Thanks so much from one aging London boy, wife, and thrilled 8-year-old #halfgirlhalfbracelet.”
