Trump look-alike sings to sell pudding in Pakistan

The resemblance to Trump, who is poised to assume office as the 47th President of the United States, has made Bagga a subject of fascination for many.

A local food vendor in Pakistan’s Sahiwal division has captured the attention of many due to his uncanny resemblance to US President-elect Donald Trump.

Saleem Bagga, 53, who sells traditional kheer (a milky rice pudding), is becoming a local celebrity, with customers drawn not only to his delicious dessert but also to his striking appearance and entertaining mannerisms.

Bagga, known for his distinctive blond quiff—a result of albinism—pushes his vibrant wooden cart through the busy streets of Sahiwal, a district in Punjab.

The food vendor, dressed in a black jacket and beige shalwar kameez to ward off the winter chill, sings Punjabi songs as he serves customers, further adding to the charm of his stall.

Local resident Mohammad Yaseen shared, “We feel as if Trump has come here to sell kheer.”

The resemblance to Trump, who is poised to assume office as the 47th President of the United States, has made Bagga a subject of fascination for many.

Customers, who appreciate both his pudding and his persona, often gather around, snapping selfies with the vendor, sometimes even calling their friends to boast about their interaction with “Trump.”

Imran Ashraf, a local resident, said, “His kheer is really delicious… we talk to him and take selfies with him. We tell our friends that we have taken these pictures with Trump.”

Despite the attention, Bagga remains humble and unbothered by the popularity that has come with his resemblance to the U.S. President-elect. “My face resembles Donald Trump, that’s why people take selfies with me. I feel very good,” Bagga shared, smiling warmly at his growing crowd of admirers.

In an invitation that has gone viral, Bagga even called upon the newly re-elected President Trump to visit Pakistan. “Donald Trump sahib, you have won the election, now visit here and eat my kheer, you will really enjoy it,” he said.

Social media has played a significant role in amplifying Bagga’s fame, with netizens captivated by his striking resemblance to Trump and the endearing way in which he interacts with customers.
