The statement on the PTI Twitter account asked people to report anything objectionable that appears on the Twitter account of Asad Umar.

Twitter account of the General Secretary of Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insad Asad Umar has been hacked. The official account of Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf informed the followers on Tuesday night.

The statement on the PTI Twitter account asked people to report anything objectionable that appears on the Twitter account of Asad Umar. The efforts are being made to recover the account of Asad Umar.

“PTI Secretary General Asad Umar’s account has been hacked. Please report any uncharacteristic tweets to Twitter. We are working with Twitter to get access back,” it said.

The account hacking of Asad Umar comes immediately after PTI wins back Punjab from PDM following the decision of Supreme Court. The last tweet posted from the account of Asad Umar reads: “These three judges were on the bench whose decision ended Imran Khan’s government. He picked up the diary and pen and went to his people, because he lives in his heart. Their mourning begins because they know there is no place for them to go where they can find respect and love #مینڈیٹ_بمقابلہ_مافیا

After much delay, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has finally announced its verdict in the Deputy Speaker ruling case. The ruling of the deputy speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari that disregarded the ten votes of PML-Q has been over turned by the Supreme court, and resultantly Chaudhry Pervez Ilahi have been declared the new Chief Minister of Punjab while Hamza Shehbaz has been ordered to vacate the office immediately.

The 3-member bench of the Supreme Court that heard and decided the petition was comprised of the Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Justice Munib Akhtar.

PTI welcomed the decision as the official twitter account of PTI termed the decision as victory of the people.
