Following his comments, Maulana Fazlur Rehman is being criticized by netizens. A social media campaign is also being run against the PDM leader.
Reacting to Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s statements, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said the JUI-F Chief single-handedly destroyed his political career as well as Nawaz Sharif’s and Asif Zardari’s.
“Look at Maulana’s statement, you can understand the frustration, exhaustion, and defeat hidden in it. This time Maulana made a suicide attack on his own, Nawaz Sharif, and Zardari’s politics that his generations will also feel the pain. They ousted Imran Khan on a conspiracy. The effort cost them a lot,” Fawad Chaudhry tweeted.

He also asked the United Nations (UN) on which ground the UN is expressing sympathy with Imran Khan. The JUI-F supremo said that after the PTI Chairman condemned the attack on Rushdie, the world institutions started to mount pressure on Pakistan.
Moreover, he accused the state institutions of delaying action against former prime minister Imran Khan over his “unlimited corruption, prohibited funding, and rebellious disobedience”, saying that the state institutions were under “tremendous international pressure”.
