UAE-Israel Agreement: Muslim Ummah Is Divided Again

All Muslim countries should consider the collective interests of the Muslim Ummah instead of personal interests and adopt a joint statement while strengthening the OIC organization and if all countries take a new step through this organization in consultation with each other. It will be very beneficial for the Muslim Ummah.

The agreement between the UAE and Israel have divided the Muslim Ummah. One part is Arab countries and the other part is Ajam countries. The current rulers of the Arab world have a soft spot for Israel, anxious to recognize it. While the nations of the Ajam world have taken a hard line on Israel and have flatly refused to recognize it, calling it an illegitimate state.

It was established by occupying Palestinian lands and has the full support of longtime Muslim enemies: the United States, and Britain. Because of their support, Israel persecuted Palestinian Muslims, bombed civilian populations directly, displaced innocent and unarmed civilians, and occupied and desecrated the first qibla of Muslims. This oppressive and illegitimate state has told many heartbreaking stories of oppression and violence.

Forging closer ties with the illegitimate state

Today, the Arab rulers are anxious to forge closer ties with this illegitimate and murderous state of their brothers and for the sake of a few petty interests, they are tearing apart the unity and joint statement of the Muslim Ummah. Even before this, these Muslim countries were living without Israel. Now, what is the need that is forcing them to put aside the collective interests of the Muslim Ummah and join hands with their worst enemy?

They expect good from Israel as a result of this friendship, which can be called nothing but irrationality.

Israel has the full and clear support of the United States and Britain. A great example of this came when the US President Trump announced the relocation of his embassy to Jerusalem. That is, The United States has a greater desire to strengthen its occupation of Jerusalem than Israel.

UAE- Israel Agreement: Israel’s expansionist ambitions

Now the UAE is going to recognize Israel and its intention is to say that Israel will not occupy the Palestinian territories as a result. However, the Arab rulers are well aware that Israel has very expansionist ambitions and, according to their views, more than half of the Arab world is an Israeli state for which they are making practical efforts. That is why they sometimes occupy one area and sometimes another. They did not give up his expansionist ambitions, no matter what we did. UAE- Israel agreement

When Egypt recognized Israel and it was time to establish an Israeli embassy there. Egypt has embassies of all countries on one side of the river, while they intended to establish an Israeli embassy, but the Israelis refused, saying that according to their views, the river is their state and the embassy is not within the state. It happens to be outside.

The Israeli’s said if they build an embassy where all the other countries have embassies, then our embassy will come under their ideological state, which is against diplomatic rules. So they built their embassy across the river, that area is not in our ideological state. Now the embassies of other countries are on one side of the river while the embassy of Israel is on the other side of the river. This is an indication of how nefarious the intentions of these people are and how strictly they act on them.

In this context, how can they be expected to refrain from harming the Muslim world as a result of a single agreement and to give up their expansionist ambitions?

Arab countries and Israel Fagreem

The Arab countries are ignoring these facts and trying to increase the number of ceremonies with Israel for their own temporary purposes. When the UAE signed the agreement with Israel, the ruler of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa, congratulated the Crown Prince of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the telephone and said that the peace agreement between the UAE and Israel was a step towards peace in the region. Will help move forward. He also called it a bold step.

Other Arab countries have also remained silent on the deal. Because some of them have already acknowledged or are in favor of recognizing Israel’s illegitimate existence. But in this regard, Iran, Turkey, and Pakistan have strongly condemned it and are calling it a big mistake and a betrayal of the Palestinian cause.

Iran has called it a conspiracy to win Trump’s election and give Israel a chance to step further in the Arab world. Similarly, Turkey has strongly condemned it and is considering canceling diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates.Reacting to the agreement, Pakistan said it would have far-reaching implications.

Implications of the UAE- Israel Agreement

As a result of this UAE Israel agreement, the UAE will persuade other Muslim countries to recognize Israel, and smaller countries, especially Arab countries, will continue to recognize it. Israel will first give them sweet dreams and many promises. When many countries recognize it and achieve their goals, then under various pretexts they will again be active in realizing their expansionist ambitions.

Therefore, all Muslim countries should consider the collective interests of the Muslim Ummah instead of personal interests and adopt a joint statement while strengthening the OIC organization and if all countries take a new step through this organization in consultation with each other. It will be very beneficial for the Muslim Ummah.
