Do you recall my April 23 article “What Happened to That Invasion of America”? My article pointed out how right-wingers were breathlessly sounding the alarm bells about an impending invasion of America by a group of Central American immigrants who were slowly making their way through Mexico and headed toward the United States. The right-wingers were exhorting President Trump to send U.S. troops to the border to defend our country against the impending invasion.
One right-wing group, Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC), was even exhorting its followers to volunteer to travel to the U.S.-Mexico border to serve as a support unit for U.S. troops but, unfortunately, the program had to be cancelled for lack of volunteers among its supporters. Well, guess what! It turns out that that army of invaders has just arrived at the U.S.-Mexico border!
Oh. My. Gosh. It seems that the invaders decided to take buses to Tijuana, which enabled them to reach the invasion point much quicker than anticipated. Are U.S. troops ready to defend us from this impending invasion? It doesn’t seem like that are. Maybe it’s because they’re in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Africa, Korea, Germany, Britain, and Japan and, therefore, unavailable to defend our own country from the invasion.
It appears that the invaders are having problems with supply lines. According to Reuters, “Honduran Angel Caceres dipped a tortilla into a plate of refried beans and rice, his first meal in two days.
Or maybe it’s because California Gov. Jerry Brown placed extreme limits on the California National Guard after he responded positively to President Trump’s call for the Guard to help defend the country against the impending invasion. Whatever, this is not looking good. It seems that our nation might just be defenseless when the invasion begins, which could be any time now.
Perhaps it would be wise to do an analysis on the army that is about to invade and possibly conquer the United States. According to Time magazine, “About 130 Central Americans, mostly women and children, have arrived at the U.S. border with Mexico in a ‘caravan’ of asylum-seeking immigrants that has drawn the fury of President Donald Trump.”

Oh. My. Gosh. An invading army of 130 people! Is that a battalion or a corps? No doubt that those women and children are trained infantrymen — I mean, infantrypersons. Well, except for one thing: The invaders are not armed. They don’t have guns, tanks, planes, bullets, bombs, or missiles. In fact, there isn’t anything to indicate that they even have machetes or knives.
Nonetheless, to give you an idea of how dangerous this invading army is, take a look at this photograph of one of the invaders. As soon as you see it, I will guarantee you that you will rush down to your local recruiting center, join the U.S. Army, and request to be immediately sent to the border to defend our country. Well, after boot camp, of course.
It doesn’t seem like that are. Maybe it’s because they’re in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Africa, Korea, Germany, Britain, and Japan and, therefore, unavailable to defend our own country from the invasion.
According to Reuters, one of the invaders is Kimberly George, a 15-year-old girl from Honduras. Reflecting the toughness of the invading army, George remarked, “That wall doesn’t look that tall. I really want to cross it.” Given that ferocity, is it really wise for Trump to depend on the National Guard to repel the invasion? Wouldn’t it be better to send the 82nd Airborne Division to fight Kimberly George and her fellow invaders?
Oh, wait a minute! I just read that the invaders have received reinforcements. According to the Reuters article, “Another busload of migrants arrived in the afternoon, overflowing the first shelter and more pulled in after dark.”
Oh. My. Gosh.
One of the new invaders is “34-year-old Aide Hernandez from Guatemala who had four children in tow.” Think about that! Five new invaders! Maybe Trump should also send the 101st Airborne Division. There is some good news about this. It appears that the invaders are having problems with supply lines. According to Reuters, “Honduran Angel Caceres dipped a tortilla into a plate of refried beans and rice, his first meal in two days.

He preferred to spend what money he’d saved leaving Honduras to buy food for his five-year-old son, Jeffrey, coughing with a dirty nose beside him.” Moreover, “children in dirt-smeared shirts played ball in a cramped courtyard in one of the shelters as others bedded down on the hard flood inside, covering up under blankets or whatever extra clothes they had on hand as the temperature dropped. A scrawny girl crawled onto the lap of her mother, Ana Wuillams, crying that she was cold.”
So far, it seems the invaders are going to begin their invasion by requesting asylum here in the United States in the hopes of escaping the violence that the U.S. government’s drug war has brought to their countries. But don’t let your guard down: Even though their request for asylum is legal under U.S. law, this is undoubtedly just a first step in an invasion in which a few hundred invaders, mostly unarmed women and children, are set to conquer California and then make their way east to Washington, D.C. (via bus no doubt), where they will conquer the federal government and take over the Pentagon, the CIA, the NSA, and ICE.
