A second flight carrying undocumented Pakistani immigrants deported from the United States is set to arrive in Pakistan next week, highlighting the impact of President Donald Trump’s strict immigration policies. The Pakistani Embassy in the United States has confirmed that eight individuals, including Rehman, Saleem, Nawaz, Salman, Azeem, Khan, and Khalid Masih, will be repatriated aboard a special American aircraft.

Criminal Records and Residency Violations

Of the deportees, six individuals are being sent back solely for immigration violations, while two have criminal records. “Two individuals on the deportation list were found guilty of serious crimes, including rape and drug-related offences,” an FIA source disclosed.

Pakistani authorities have been closely monitoring deportations to distinguish between individuals involved in criminal activities and those who overstayed their visas or lacked legal documentation. The FIA and security officials will ensure a smooth reception process upon their arrival in Islamabad.

FBI Arrest and Deportation of Pakistani National

In addition to the upcoming deportations, officials confirmed the recent deportation of 56-year-old Syed Rizvi, a Pakistani national who had been residing illegally in Dallas, Texas. Rizvi entered the US in 2017 but was found in violation of immigration laws.

The FBI arrested him on January 31, and he was officially deported to Pakistan on February 25. Following his deportation, US authorities provided his photograph and personal details to Pakistani officials for record-keeping purposes.

Screening and Reintegration of Deportees

Pakistani authorities have emphasized that all deportees will be screened for any pending legal cases upon arrival. They will also be questioned about their stay in the US and the reasons for their deportation.

For those not involved in criminal activities, the government will provide assistance in their reintegration process. An FIA official stated: “We are closely monitoring all deportees to distinguish between those involved in criminal activities and those deported solely due to residency violations.”
