Footage from a security camera outside a residence in Tulkarm, a West Bank city, revealed Israeli security forces’ vehicles repeatedly running over the body of a Palestinian man who had been shot during an Israeli forces raid. Following the incident on Monday, Israeli border police stated that their commandos had conducted a raid in Tulkarm to apprehend a wanted militant, resulting in the death of three Palestinian gunmen in a confrontation.
The video captured the Israeli security forces approaching a house at night, opening fire on a group of young men, at least one of whom was armed, as they exited the house into the street. Two men were struck and remained motionless on the street, while another angle showed a third man being shot. The footage depicted an Israeli security forces vehicle approaching the bodies on the ground, driving over one of them, and momentarily stopping on the man’s legs. Subsequent images indicated that one body had been moved to the roadside, and another vehicle backed over the remaining body, maneuvering over it multiple times.
Additional footage from a different camera at the same location, captured moments earlier, displayed several Palestinians fleeing the house, with one passing a rifle to another, who was promptly shot. The video showed the two men in the street from a different angle, along with the third man lying in the driveway of the house.
“complex and brutal crime”
The Palestinian ministry characterized the incident as reflective of the “culture of hatred” propagated by Israeli forces and denounced it as a “complex and brutal crime” within the series of occupation and settler militia crimes. The Tulkarm Brigades, an armed group associated with Fatah, claimed one of the Palestinians killed on Monday as its member.

Tulkarm, a significant crossing point between the West Bank and Israel, has witnessed multiple raids by Israeli security forces since the October 7 attack on Israel by Hamas, a Fatah rival governing Gaza. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in the Israeli-occupied West Bank on Wednesday, following discussions with Israeli leaders urging the provision of a pathway to a Palestinian state.
