Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli continue to be the go-to celebrity couple for brand endorsements. According to the TAM AdEx report on celebrity endorsements, they bagged 26 per cent share of ad endorsements from April to June 2020 with 16 brands in their kitty, followed by Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna and Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan.
Virat and Anushka tied the knot in an intimate wedding in Tuscany, Italy on December 11, 2017. In the ad world, they’re best known for their joint appearances in commercials for a wedding wear brand.

Speaking about the actress-turned-producer, Anushka is currently basking the success of her last two offerings, Bulbbul and Paatal Lok. Bulbbul, a Netflix original film left the entire town talking about its powerful female protagonist.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, the celebrity couple which has topped the list with a 26% share and 16 brand endorsements also have a few other laurels in their name. According to the report, Virat topped the list of the most visible celebrities, with an average of 10 hours of visibility per day, across all TV channels. The celebrity cricketer is followed by some of the most popular actors in Bollywood on the list, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan, in the period between April and June, 2020.

Known for her unique storytelling techniques, Anushka Sharma shared in a media interaction, “For us, how uniquely we tell a story is extremely important, and we have tried to tell our stories as different as possible. I have always felt that a visual trigger to storytelling is key to hold the attention of audiences today, and it also allows us an unexpectedly new route to present an idea that has never been seen before by audience.”

The actress further added, “While we have accidentally created a sub-genre of supernatural feminism films, we have consciously told the story through the lens of clutter-breaking visual effects.”
Akshay Kumar as a brand ambassador
There’s something unique about Akshay Kumar when it comes to the actor’s role as a brand ambassador; the Bollywood star usually agrees to almost every product coming his way, no matter what the category is. While Amitabh Bachchan, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan have all seen a drop in the number of categories they opt for advertising, along with Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar is the only celeb to witness a rise in the number of categories.

As far as celebrity couples are concerned, Akshay and his wife Twinkle Khanna came in at number two after Virat and Anushka. They are followed by Kareena and Saif Ali Khan, and Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Other celebrity couples on the list include Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, Dharmendra and Hema Malini, and Ajay Devgn and Kajol.
