The video of the altercation has gone viral on social media. The incident happened after the conclusion of the third Test match against Australia.

Kohli, who likes to keep his personal life away from the spotlight that comes with his career, wasn’t reportedly happy to see himself and his family members being captured by the media. Seeing cameras capturing him and his children at the airport, Kohli reportedly lost his cool.

Australian media was capturing Scott Boland, cameras shifted to Virat Kohli when he appeared at the airport with his family.

“It was upon seeing the waiting cameras that Kohli became a little heated over what is largely a misunderstanding when he thought the media was filming him with his children,” a reporter at the airport said on 7NEWS.

“With my kids I need some privacy, you can’t film without asking me,” Virat Kohli could be heard saying.

The Indian cricketer assumed that his privacy with the family was not being respected. The matter was cooled down when Kohli was assured that his children were not being filmed.

Both Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have two children. The couple tried to keep their children away from media attention and have requested several times not to film them with their family.
