Waqar Younis vows to support Imran Khan in Elections 2018

Former cricketer and Pakistan pace bowling legend Waqar Younis has expressed his support for Chief of Tehreek-I-Insaf Imran Khan in the upcoming general elections. On Thursday, Waqar Younis, in his tweet has reiterated that he supports the slogan of change raised by Imran Khan.

Waqar Younis vows to build ‘Naya Pakistan’ with Imran Khan and wants him to become the next Prime Minister of Pakistan. Waqar Younis wishing Imran Khan all the best wrote: “Enough is Enough…Time to bring Change #PAKISTAN All the Best in the upcoming elections Skipper, We are all behind you @ImranKhanPTI.”

Waqar Younis in another tweet stated, Imran Khan is an honest leader who will drive the country towards a better future. He urged that time has come the nation should stand up and support Imran Khan.

Imran Khan is an immensely popular leader currently in Pakistan. He is drawing support from various sections of the society. The entertainers and celebrities are particularly are rallying behind him in the upcoming elections on July 25th, 2018. Celebrities like Kubra Khan, Farhan Saeed, Urwa Hocane, Mawra Hocane, Bilal Khan have expressed their support for Imran Khan.

Having a charismatic personality Imran Khan was already a celebrated figure in Pakistan, even before stepping into the politics in 1996. He was revered as a cricketer who brought home the 1992 Cricket World Cup.

Imran Khan is a philanthropist who holds several achievements of social welfare. His achievements include the construction of a cancer hospital that offers treatment free of cost in Peshawar and Lahore and a university.

He is generally garnering support for his slogans of eliminating corruption from Pakistan and bringing back the looted money in the country.

In the previous general elections of 2013, his party Tehreek-I-Insaf formed a provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Imran Khan and his party Tehreek-I-Insaf are adamant to win the general election 2018 with a sweeping victory. They are aiming to secure power for the Federal government.
