A video of former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa hiding in the car while leaving the Middle Temple has gone viral on social media.
He hid in the car to avoid the charged protestors protesting against him outside the Middle Temple, where the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple invited him for an honorary dinner. Videos circulating on social media showed former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa and his wife Serena Esa bent down to avoid facing the protestors as their car left the venue.
The protest was organized by overseas supporters, party workers, and Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf (PTI) followers. Qazi Faez Isa retired as the chief justice of Pakistan in the last days of October. Soon after retirement, he left Pakistan for London. As per media reports, he will live in London following his retirement.
PTI protestors protesting outside the venue accused him of being complacent in the gross human rights violations against the PTI workers in Pakistan, particularly former Prime Minister Imran Khan. He is also being accused of supporting the present government to come to power through election fraud. PTI leaders including Sayed Zulfikar Bukhari, Maleeka Bukhari, and Azhar Mashwani were also present at the present along with a large number of people.
