Who is afraid of PM Imran’s success?

Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said Maryam Safdar was afraid of PM Imran’s success. She said that Maryam fears that PM Khan’s success would make the country profitable while simultaneously turn her private limited company in the guise of political party in loss.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan implied on Friday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz was afraid of Imran Khan’s success as prime minister.

In a tweet, Dr Firdous said that the Maryam Safdar’s use of indecent language for the incumbent prime minister shows her growing frustration. While expressing her views on the microblogging site, she said, Maryam fears that PM Khan’s success would make the country profitable while simultaneously turn her private limited company in the guise of political party in loss.

Earlier, Dr Firdous said the purpose of amnesty scheme was to provide an opportunity to the people for the legalization of their black and grey money. She said the present government wanted to bring back the money of those hiding their suspicious accounts abroad. She added that the step would help reduce inflation besides improving the national economy.

Dr Firdous said that the Maryam Safdar’s use of indecent language for the incumbent prime minister shows her growing frustration.

The special assistant said that those found involved in concealing their accounts abroad, would be dealt with iron hands.

Firdous questions Maryam’s silence on Model Town incident

On May 30, when the news of the clash between the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) workers and law enforces emerged, Maryam took to the Twitter to condemn the assault of PPP workers.

“The person who attacked Parliament, PM House, PTV and paralyzed Islamabad for four months could not tolerate a small protest because he is scared,” Maryam tweeted in an apparent reference to Prime Minister Imran Khan and his 126-day long sit-in in the capital in 2014.

However, Firdous was quick to question Maryam’s silence on Model Town incident. Awan said that those who patronized Gullu Butts when they ruled the country should not give lectures and sermons to others.

While questioning Maryam’s silence over Model Town incident, the PM’s advisor said Maryam should have issued such statements after Model Town incident. Awan said that there will be no concession on the accountability process, saying those who were facing NAB cases should focus on answering the questions posed by the accountability watchdog.
