According to a report, Bollywood actor Salman Khan had rejected the blockbuster film Chak De India to not upset his fans in Pakistan.
Later the film was offered to Shah Rukh Khan in 2007 and the film turned out to be a huge blockbuster. During his interview with The Indian Express, he said that he does not regret not doing the film. “I don’t regret not doing the film but I agree that my judgment about it was wrong.”
Khan shared two reasons for not signing up for the film at that time. “I had a problem with the climax. My reasoning was that if you lose to Pakistan then you also have to win with Pakistan. I also had a problem with the title. I wish they hadn’t added India to the title. I felt our fans in Pakistan and Bangladesh might feel bad,” said Salman Khan.
Salman Khan had two offers that year – 1st one was Chak De India
2nd one was Partner .
Salman chose partner just because he wanted to help for the revival of Govinda's career and it became a big blockbuster at Box-office.
