Will hold son’s valima in Pakistan after PM Khan leaves – Capt. Safdar

Exuding confidence, Captain (R) Safdar Awan said Junaid Safdar’s wedding ceremony will happen in Pakistan when PML-N successfully ousts PM Khan. On that occasion, Nawaz Sharif himself will come to Pakistan to take part in the celebrations.

Captain retd. Safdar Awan says Junaid Safdar will have his valima when PML-N outs PM Khan. He also confirmed that Junaid Safdar will have his valima in Pakistan.

PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz’s son Junaid Safdar recently had his nikkah in London. The event took social media by storm as members of the PTI government criticized the wedding ceremony.

While speaking to the media, Safdar Awan clarified that only the Nikkah was done, and not the wedding as is widely believed. The Nawaz family will have the wedding when PML-N becomes successful in its “vote ko izzat do” campaign.

Exuding confidence, he also said Junaid Safdar’s wedding ceremony will happen when Nawaz Sharif comes to Pakistan. Currently, Mian Nawaz Sharif is in London on account of his “health.”

On the expense of the Nikkah ceremony, Safdar Awan denied claims of spending $1 million. Recently, Minister Fawad Chaudhry took a dig at Junaid Safdar’s lavish wedding and claimed the reception cost more than $1 million.

“We don’t have objections to such weddings, but they should not be at our expense,” Fawad Chaudhry added.

However, Safdar Awan negated the accusation and said it is all lies. He elaborated that the ceremony was funded by their own income.

“These people are idiots,” Safdar Awan said while debunking the accusations.

He also said how disappointing it is that people are targetting a young boy’s wedding. He ended by saying that Junaid Safdar’s bride is now his third daughter. Everything belonging to the family is now hers as well.

Maryam Nawaz fails to attend son’s nikkah

Maryam Nawaz could not attend her son’s nikkah due to her name on the Exit Control List (ECL).

“My son, Junaid’s nikkah with Ayesha Saif-ur-Rehman will take place in London on 22nd August Inshallah. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the ceremony owing to blatant victimization and bogus cases and my name on ECL,” Maryam Nawaz had tweeted.

As she could not travel to London, she attended the ceremony via video call. Regarding this, Safdar Awan said had if PM Khan was in Maryam Nawaz’s shoes then the PML-N government would have given him the ticket to attend his son’s nikkah.
