Xiaomi has released the 11T range last year and the Mi 10T family in 2020, so the T-series is nothing new to them. Online rumours about the Xiaomi 12T series have been going around, but now a dependable source has revealed everything you need to know.
The Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro were displayed in an explosion of Xiaomi 12T series renders and specifications on the German website WinFuture. According to reports, both phones will get plastic frames rather than metal ones, as well as comparable back camera layouts. One of the few distinctions between the two devices is the megapixel branding on the camera casing.

Along with these characteristics, the two phones appear to have a flat 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED screen (2,712 x 1,220), 20MP front camera, 5,000mAh battery, and 120W wired charging. Uncertainty exists around whether the 120W charger will be included in the box for both the basic 12T and the Pro variant of Xiaomi’s phone.
What makes the Xiaomi 12T Pro a pro?
The more expensive option here is the Pro model, as the name suggests. You may anticipate a powerful Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset that should easily handle whatever work you throw at it. Despite rumours that models with 8GB of RAM will be offered in specific areas, the Xiaomi 12T Pro is rumoured to include 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
In addition, the phone has a 200MP primary camera with an f/1.69 aperture. This wouldn’t be the first 200MP smartphone available; Motorola’s Edge 30 Ultra did it before Xiaomi. No information has been released on the Xiaomi phone’s optical image stabilisation (OIS), according to WinFuture.
Additionally, the Xiaomi phone has a 2MP macro sensor and an 8MP ultrawide camera on the back. Therefore, anyone expecting a truly quality photography experience might be let down. Speaking of “luxury,” the outlet’s sources suggested a price of €849.

The best Xiaomi 12T is the standard model.
The plain 12T appears to be a respectable device as well, but it differs in two crucial areas. One is that the phone will reportedly be powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 8100 series chipset, which is in the higher mid-range. Even while this chipset isn’t on par with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 family, you can still anticipate flagship-level performance.
The 108MP main camera (f/1.65) on the vanilla form of the Xiaomi 12T remains unchanged on the Xiaomi 12T Pro. This will also include the 2MP macro and 8MP ultrawide cameras.
According to rumours, the 12T will reportedly retail for €649 (about $646) and come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
