A young man from Balochistan Mir Balach Nasherwani, lost his life while saving a minor boy who drowned in a well.
The minor boy was collecting the garbage when he suddenly fell into the flooded well at Sariab road Quetta. Unfortunately, both of them lost their lives during the rescue effort.
His cousin Bilal Nosherwani said, “Balach did not come back.” Adding that Balach lost his life while saving the boy.
Relatives, friends, and the residents of the area launched the rescue operation themselves. They found both bodies 14 hours after the rescue operation.

“We retrieved the two bodies after 14 hours of efforts”, Bilawal said. He said the rescue teams of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority reached the spot after three hours but they were also helpless.
Two young men from Balochistan’s Mastung district reached Quetta. Young men identified as Jalil Ahmed Shahwani and Amir Hamza Shahwani retrieved the body after 14 hours.

“We faced a danger inside the well to recover the bodies,” said Jalil talking to Express Tribune. He said that there was extreme darkness in the well and they were not sure if they would come back alive.

Inspired by the bravery of the two young men, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Quddus Bizenjo announced rewards and jobs for the young men.
They have been offered jobs in DPMA and a reward of Rs 0.2 million for them, says the spokesman of the CM Secretariat.
The spokesman also conveyed the deep grief and sorrow of the Chief Minister on the loss of lives in the incident.
Social media users expressed remorse over the loss of lives in the incident. They also hailed the heroic efforts of Balach and other men. Netizens honored Balach for his bravery.
