Youngest Egyptian Pilgrim Passes Away in Mecca During Hajj Pilgrimage

A funeral prayer for Yahya Ramadan was held at the Grand Mosque, and he was laid to rest in the holy city.

Yahya Mohammed Ramadan, the youngest Egyptian pilgrim, tragically passed away in Mecca while accompanying his parents for the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage.

Initial reports from the family indicated that Yahya could not withstand the high temperatures at the Grand Mosque. However, other sources reported that the child died after falling from the top of a residential building in Saudi Arabia, resulting in instant death.

A funeral prayer for Yahya Ramadan was held at the Grand Mosque, and he was laid to rest in the holy city.

Yahya is the son of Mohammed Ramadan, an Egyptian citizen from the Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate. The family had been living in Saudi Arabia due to Mohammed Ramadan’s work.
