Fauji Meat Limited is building the domestic market stronghold by launching its brand under the brand name of “Zabeeha”. Fauji Meat Limited was incorporated in 2013, as a subsidiary of Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited which falls under the umbrella of Fauji Foundation Group, the largest business conglomerate in Pakistan. The brand launch ceremony was held on 4th April, 2018, at their new store located at 15 – C, Street 11, Badar Commercial, Phase 5, DHA, Karachi. The store is built with the aim to provide fresh, hygienic and wholesome meat to the Pakistani consumers.
In the welcoming note, Chief Operating Officer, Brig Abid Janjiana Sitara Imtiaz, Sitara-e-Essar (Retd), regarded the launch of Zabeeha as a step towards providing quality meat to our fellow countrymen. Focusing on the quality standards, he stated: ‘We take pride in being part of the largest Halal Meat Processing Plant in South Asia, ensuring top quality hygienic practices to deliver distinctly flavorsome meat of Pakistan to the ever growing demands of the domestic and global market’.
Furthermore, he added: “We are certified and approved Halal meat producers, having domestic and international certifications”. He added “Fauji Meat Limited recently entered into a strategic business partnership with ARY Group to add value for its customers, through ARY Sahulat wallet. ARY sahulat wallet will be used as a loyalty card by all Zabeeha customers to avail a 20% savings discount on all meat purchases at Zabeeha retail store”
To mark the opening of the store, honorable chief guest CE and MD of Fauji Fertilizers Bin Qasim Ltd, Lt. General Javed Iqbal, Halal-e-Imtiaz (M) (Retd). applauded the workforce for their utmost commitment and diligent efforts. Talking to the participants he added: “I take pride in the fact that Fauji Meat Limited has not only achieved the milestones assigned to it but it has outdone them. I am affirmative that the launch of Zabeeha by Fauji Meat Ltd, is a step towards provision of quality meat domestically and the standards set by Fauji Group in other sectors will be maintained in this field also”.
The ceremony was followed by the ribbon cutting by CE and MD and Chairman ARY group Haji Iqbal.
Participants of the inauguration ceremony represented the prestigious food providing organizations and leading personalities from esteemed institutions, e.g.,
Karachi Chamber of Commerce, TDAP (Trade Development Authority of Pakistan), Armed Forces, local industrialists, hotel managers, Seaport authorities, and Defense Housing Authority.
Onlookers and analysts regarded the market entry of Zabeeha by Fauji Meat Limited as a pivotal step towards progress and growth of the organization. The event ended with a jovial tour of the creatively designed store, presentation of souvenirs, photographs and hi-tea. The customers from other cities around Pakistan are showing interest and awaiting Zabeeha outlets in their respective cities as well.
